Review By Blue Eclair 2010 年 4 月 10 日コメントをどうぞコメント [Translate] tweetmeme_url = 'http://aoiinazuma.com/blue_eclairs_room/vinylforest/disc-review-timeless/2010/04/10/glossy-dont-chop-the-music-timeless-review-by-blue-eclair/';tweetmeme_source = 'blue_eclair'; 　Timeless!の第2弾は先日の配信でも少しかけましたGlossyのDon’t Chop The Musicです。タイトルのDon’t Chop The Musicを見ると、おやっと思う方もいるかもしれません。そうYarbrough & PeoplesのDon’t Stop The Musicをギッタンギッタンに切り刻んでます。当時2007年ぐらいに初めて聴いた時にはうわーっと思って即買いした記憶があります。Linkwoodとかもこういった刻み、逆回転エディットが好きですよね。ジャケに特徴があるので当時見かけた方もいるかもしれませんね。このGlossyレーベルは3枚リリースしていて、それからパタリといなくなりました。当時はSlowhouseという謎のレーベルも平行してリリースされていましたが、そちらも3枚のリリースで終了しました。Yarbrough & PeoplesですがDon’t Stop The Musicとあと数曲がヒットして、こちらもこれ以降はヒットなしみたいですね。ちなみに黒人の白目がギョロッとした方がYarbroughさんです（笑）どうでもいいんですが、なんで80年代のPVってあからさまに口パクなんでしょうね。信じられないぐらいバレバレですよね。以前レヴューしたLinkwoodのBarely Eagleの元ネタ、Dennis Parker / Like An EagleのPVもかなり酷い状態ですので一度最後まで観てみて下さい、途中イーグルが飛んでいくんですが、おーいってぐらい手抜きでいい感じです。あとDon’t Stop The Feelingって曲もあって（笑）何気にこっちのバックトラックはいじれそうですね。Don’t Stop The Feeling♪の繰り返しですけど。。A再度はお馴染みBoney M.のFelicidadですね。Boney M.は他の曲もけっこう良いですので是非。 A: PayamaAudio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip.
