音楽、とりわけレコードが好きです。暇さえあればレコードを買っては聴き、買っては聴きの繰り返しの毎日です。
基本的にDJというスタンスよりもディスクレヴューをする立場ではありますが、やはりレコードを現場でかけた際のレヴューが一番、という事もありDJもしています。

本年の2010年は身辺が色々と落ち着いたのでディスクレヴューやDJ活動などを再開していきます。
現在は国内最強のアマチュアDJ集団であるc-lesに所属しています。
また、2010年8月からはBarksさんのご好意によりヴァイナル・レヴューを連載することになりました。
Back in my rootsのDee-S氏と共に連載をしていきます。

Vinyl Forest

森の木に生い茂る葉のように、音楽にも幹があり、そこから無限に派生した様々な音がある。
世界に無数にある音楽を森の木と葉に準えれて「Vinyl Forest」と名付けています。私のtwitterネームでもあります。
生きている間にどれだけの木と葉に出会えるか、そして集めた葉、木をどのように組み合わせるか、私の想いが込められています。そしてその出会いの中で様々な人に出会いたいです。

──【連載】「Vinyl Forest」とは

筆者の私達は音楽好きなのは言うまでもないのだが、年齢を重ねるにつれ不感症になりつつある。原因はハッキリしていて、テクノロジーの進化によって低価格、高品質な制作環境が容易に手に入る昨今にもかかわらず、楽曲のクオリティが退化の一途を辿っているからだ。低コストで在庫を抱えずに済むからレーベルは多くのリリースができる反面、現場ではとても使えないトラックも非常に多い。

そこで、データ音楽販売が主流となった昨今のダンスミュージック界隈の懐事情を鑑みて、

「レーベル側が在庫リスクを背負い、インディながらも頑なにVinylをリリースするという行為を逆に考えたら、その選択肢だけでレーベルは充分な楽曲クオリティを保証しているのではないのか？」

という持論（フィルタリング）で巡り会えた珠玉の刺激物と、今では考えられない予算を投じてリリースされた名盤をご紹介していく。

Back In My Roots – C-Les Radio From DJ History Promotions
Its been quite a while now since Dee-s and I decided to do this show. We played whatever we felt its right for our time at the basement called c-les. I had some time off to set my minds right to be on the right track while I was involved in “Abstract Lounge”. Dee-s has been dipped into the sound since his grandfather driving and listened to Giorgio Moroder alongside. Myself on the other hand was picking up guitar when I was too little. Our mind at that point meet where we felt but nothing for the love of the music. Our code was to express but only vinyl.(exception for my work rare) Sounds Strange for other weekend, but every first week it does. Where TZW sets “Disco or Die” to bring the vinyl pressure and Blue brings new vinyl seasons of love out there.
